This one-of-a-kind pendant pairs luminous Prasiolite with a rich green Chrome Diopside, creating a beautiful interplay of soft and vibrant green. The teardrop-shaped Prasiolite features an intricate floral carving visible through the gemstone, framed by faceted edges that catch and reflect the light.
Above it sits a faceted teardrop Chrome Diopside, bringing a deeper forest green to the design and adding contrast to the delicate, almost ethereal quality of the Prasiolite. Set in sterling silver by Entia, the two gemstones are joined with a small articulated connection, allowing the lower Prasiolite to move naturally when worn.
About Prasiolite
Prasiolite is a green variety of Quartz, sometimes known as Green Amethyst. Naturally occurring Prasiolite is very rare, and much of the material available in jewellery is created through the treatment of Quartz or Amethyst to produce its characteristic pale green colour.
Connected with the Heart, Third Eye and Crown Chakras, Prasiolite is traditionally associated with clearing disharmonious energy and opening the heart to greater love and compassion. It is also believed to strengthen our connection with the Higher Self, encouraging a heart-centred perspective and greater empathy and understanding.
Prasiolite also carries a beautiful connection with nature and the Earth, making its pairing with the rich green Chrome Diopside particularly fitting.
