At Nature’s Magick, we take great care in selecting and offering quality jewellery designed to be both beautiful and lasting.
We proudly offer a 12-month manufacturing warranty on most sterling silver, gemstone, and gold-plated jewellery pieces, excluding chains unless otherwise stated.
Blue Turtles jewellery pieces include their own lifetime manufacturing guarantee provided by the brand.
This warranty applies specifically to manufacturing and workmanship faults and operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What Our Manufacturing Warranty Covers
Our manufacturing warranty covers faults related to workmanship or structural integrity under normal wear.
Examples may include:
• A gemstone becoming loose or falling from its setting
• Breakage of a setting or pendant bale
• Faults in soldering or structural construction
If a genuine manufacturing fault is identified, we will assess the most appropriate resolution, which may include:
• Repair
• Replacement
• Store credit
• Refund where appropriate
Where possible, we will generally aim to repair or replace the item before offering a refund.
Inspecting Your Jewellery Upon Arrival
We kindly ask customers to inspect jewellery carefully upon receiving their order.
Any noticeable manufacturing concerns, damage, gemstone chips, or imperfections should be reported within 7 days of delivery in line with our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy.
If an issue arises outside of the initial 7-day return period but within the 12-month warranty period, customers should contact us as soon as they become aware of the issue.
To help us assess the claim efficiently, we may request:
• Clear photographs of the item
• Close-up images of the issue
• Your order number
• A brief description of the concern
Where appropriate, these images may also be forwarded to our suppliers or manufacturers as part of the assessment process.
Warranty Assessment & Repairs
In many cases, we may request the item be returned to us for inspection prior to approving a repair, replacement, or warranty claim.
Return shipping to Nature’s Magick is generally the responsibility of the customer initially. Where a genuine manufacturing fault is confirmed and approved under warranty, we may reimburse reasonable return shipping costs and cover the cost of returning the repaired or replacement item to the customer.
Please note that repair timeframes can vary depending on supplier assessment, jeweller availability, or the complexity of the repair required. We will always do our best to keep customers informed throughout the process.
Where a repair falls outside of warranty coverage, we may still be able to assist in arranging a repair at the customer’s expense. Alternatively, customers may choose to have repairs completed independently through their own jeweller.
What The Warranty Does Not Cover
Our manufacturing warranty does not cover:
• General wear and tear
• Tarnishing or natural oxidation over time
• Accidental damage
• Impact damage
• Bent, misshapen, or dented rings or settings
• Chipped or cracked gemstones caused after delivery
• Damage caused by excessive force, pulling, snagging, or improper handling
• Water, chemical, perfume, or heat damage
• Damage caused by improper storage or care
While sterling silver and gemstone jewellery is designed for regular wear, all fine jewellery should still be treated with care to help preserve its longevity and appearance.
Chains
Chains are excluded from our 12-month manufacturing warranty unless otherwise specified.
Fine chains, including snake chains and delicate sterling silver chains, require careful handling due to their flexible and lightweight construction.
Our warranty does not cover:
• Snapped chains
• Bent or kinked chains
• Damage caused by pulling, catching, twisting, or excessive force
• Clasps damaged through accidental stress or impact
To help extend the life of your chain, we recommend avoiding sleeping in jewellery, exposing chains to unnecessary tension, or sharply bending delicate chain styles.
