This colourful, hand-painted ceramic incense burner and smudge bowl features a compact spoon-shaped design for burning incense cones, Palo Santo, natural resins and loose incense.
The rounded ceramic bowl helps contain ash and incense residue, while the extended handle creates a practical, distinctive shape. Use it with suitable direct-burn incense, or add a charcoal disc when working with natural resins, loose incense and ritual herb blends.
Available in assorted bright colours, each burner brings practical function and handcrafted character to your altar, meditation space or everyday incense ritual. Colours are selected according to available stock.
For incense cones or Palo Santo: Light your incense, allow it to catch, then extinguish the flame as appropriate so it smoulders. Position it securely within the ceramic bowl to catch falling ash.
For resin or loose incense: Place the burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface with an insulating trivet or tile underneath. Using charcoal tongs, carefully light a charcoal disc and place it securely inside the bowl. Once the charcoal has heated, add a small amount of natural resin, loose incense or ritual herb blend.

Incense burners, cauldrons, trays and their contents may become hot during use. Always place your burner or holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. When using charcoal or a vessel that becomes very hot, use an insulating trivet or tile underneath.
Burn incense in a well-ventilated area with good airflow. Ensure incense sticks, cones, Palo Santo and other burning materials are positioned securely so that hot ash or embers fall within the burner or tray rather than onto surrounding surfaces.
Never leave burning or smouldering incense unattended. Keep incense, burners and hot charcoal away from children and pets.
When using charcoal, handle charcoal discs with suitable tongs and avoid touching or moving the burner while hot. Allow the burner, charcoal, ash and incense residue to cool completely before handling, cleaning or disposal.
Different materials retain and respond to heat differently. Only use your burner or holder with the types of incense described in its individual product listing, and follow any additional care instructions provided there.
