Incense burners, cauldrons, trays and their contents may become hot during use. Always place your burner or holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials. When using charcoal or a vessel that becomes very hot, use an insulating trivet or tile underneath.
Burn incense in a well-ventilated area with good airflow. Ensure incense sticks, cones, Palo Santo and other burning materials are positioned securely so that hot ash or embers fall within the burner or tray rather than onto surrounding surfaces.
Never leave burning or smouldering incense unattended. Keep incense, burners and hot charcoal away from children and pets.
When using charcoal, handle charcoal discs with suitable tongs and avoid touching or moving the burner while hot. Allow the burner, charcoal, ash and incense residue to cool completely before handling, cleaning or disposal.
Different materials retain and respond to heat differently. Only use your burner or holder with the types of incense described in its individual product listing, and follow any additional care instructions provided there.
